Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about manufacturing bags for your Kickstarter or Indiegogo campaign.

Order & MOQ

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
Our standard MOQ is 500 PCS per style per color. For complex smart tech bags with custom tooling, MOQ may vary. We work with crowdfunding creators to find the right balance between unit cost and campaign viability.
How long does prototyping take?
Standard prototyping takes 7-15 business days depending on complexity. Smart bags with integrated electronics may require 15-20 days. We provide structured sampling cycles: pattern setup, first sample, fit test, and final prototype confirmation.
What payment terms do you offer?
Standard terms: 30% deposit, 70% before shipment. For repeat crowdfunding clients, we offer flexible terms including milestone-based payments aligned with your campaign timeline. We accept T/T, L/C, and major payment platforms.

Materials & Customization

What materials do you work with?
We work with a wide range including: Recycled RPET ocean plastic, UHMWPE (Dyneema), Kevlar blends, TPU-coated waterproof fabrics, full-grain leather, Cordura nylon, ballistic nylon, aerospace-grade aluminum hardware, and YKK zippers.
Can you integrate electronics and smart features?
Yes. We specialize in integrating solar panels, USB-C charging ports, RFID-blocking materials, GPS trackers, Bluetooth modules, LED lighting, and biometric locks. Our team handles both the bag construction and electronics integration.
Can you help with campaign packaging design?
Yes. We offer packaging design and production as part of our service. This includes custom boxes, inserts, thank-you cards, product tags, and barcode labeling. Good packaging significantly improves the backer unboxing experience and campaign reviews.
What is the difference between OEM and ODM?
OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing): You provide the complete design and specifications, we manufacture to your exact requirements. ODM (Original Design Manufacturing): We develop the design based on your concept brief, market research, and target price point. Most crowdfunding clients start with ODM and move to OEM for repeat orders.

Quality & Shipping

What quality certifications do you hold?
We hold ISO 9001:2015 certification and follow AQL 2.5 inspection standards. Our QC process includes in-line inspection, final random inspection, and pre-shipment audit. We can also accommodate specific testing requirements (REACH, Prop 65, CPSIA).
What is the typical lead time for mass production?
Standard bags: 30-40 days. Smart bags with electronics: 40-50 days. Complex modular systems: 45-55 days. All timelines are calculated after PP sample approval. We provide weekly production updates.
Do you offer fulfillment and drop-shipping?
Yes. We provide direct fulfillment to your Kickstarter or Indiegogo backers. Services include custom packaging, labeling, kitting, and global shipping. We coordinate with major logistics providers for cost-effective delivery.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes. We sign standard Non-Disclosure Agreements before any design files are shared. Your Kickstarter and Indiegogo designs remain strictly confidential throughout prototyping and production. We also offer controlled document access and supplier traceability.
How do you handle IP protection during production?
IP protection is built into our process: signed NDAs, controlled document access with version tracking, restricted factory floor access for proprietary designs, and supplier traceability. Your crowdfunding designs never leave our secure production environment.
